ON WEDNESDAY, May 10, 2017, the Juneau Police Department held a wreath-laying memorial ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery to honor two officers shot and killed in 1979.
OFFICER RICHARD ADAIR and Officer Jimmy Kennedy were killed in the line of duty on April 17, 1979, when they were responding to a report of shots fired when they were shot and killed.
